Fall Family Camp

The Illinois Police Benevolent and Protective Association is generously sponsoring this FREE family weekend.

Families with a child aged 2-16 with any disability are invited to spend the weekend together at Timber Pointe.

Together, families can explore nature and participate in fishing, archery, zip lining, canoeing, arts and crafts, and more in an accessible environment. 

Families will stay together in cabins either alone as one family or sharing with another family. All cabins are accessible, heated, air conditioned, and have electricity. They have twin size bunk beds and single twin beds. Bedding is not provided. All cabins are near or connected to a bath house containing accessible toilets and shower stalls. 

Meals provided Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast.

Space is limited to 10 families. Sign up now!

Trained TPOC staff will facilitate all activities. Activities are accessible for all. Families can choose which to participate and may rest at their cabin or explore our 160 acres at any time.


Medical staff will not be on site. Families are responsible for their own medications and/or treatments. 

What to pack:

  • Bedding (twin size, sheets, blanket, pillow)

  • Baby pack n play/crib if needed

  • Towels

  • Toiletries

  • Shower shoes

  • Comfortable, weather appropriate attire

  • Closed toed shoes (required for horses and zipline)

  • Personal care items (catheters, depends, wipes, feeding pumps, etc.)
