DO
DO SOMETHING THAT
MATTERS
Timber Pointe Outdoor Center couldn't thrive without the people who help us make miracles happen. Do more with your summer this year as part of our Timber Pointe Outdoor Center family.
Counselor-In-Training
Timber Pointe’s 5-week overnight CIT program teaches young people (ages 15-17) what great leaders do and say, and gives them opportunities to practice this in a fun, safe, and positive environment while impacting the lives of children with disabilities and challenging illnesses! CITs will learn the skills necessary to be positive role models, and intentional helping hands alongside experienced camp staff members and future camp/recreation/youth development leaders.
Program Staff
Program Staff facilitates the epic camp FUN! You’ll have the chance to be a memory maker, stargazer, s’mores creator, belayer, karaoke host, snow cone connoisseur, lifeguard, and more, but most of all, the chance to lead campers to create, laugh, bond, dream, and achieve.
You will be trained/certified on our high ropes course, zip line, and lifeguarding. You'll also be cross-trained in other program areas, including canoeing, archery, cooking, science, fishing, and more!
Counselors
Counselors are the soul of camp. They set the tone for how great a campers experience will be by facilitating friendships and adventures in an enthusiastic, compassionate manner. Counselors will be assigned 1-4 campers, depending on their individual needs, and will be by their campers’ sides, guiding them throughout their day and utilizing strategies to promote positive behaviors and choices.
