Summer Overnight Camps

Timber Pointe Outdoor Center's overnight camps create an inclusive and empowering space where individuals with disabilities and challenging illnesses feel capable, confident, and connected. Our 5-night summer sessions encourage increased independence as campers try new things, gain new skills, and build upon things they are practicing at home, school or other programs in a safe and supported camp environment. Not only do our overnight camp sessions benefit the camper attending, but improve the health/wellbeing of the entire family unit by offering extended, overnight respite for parents/caregivers, allowing them to take some time to care for themselves and/or other family members.

The majority of our camp sessions are specifically for youth (ages 7-17) or adults (ages 18+) with a wide variety of disabilities and/or life-altering illnesses. For the past couple summers, we've also hosted 1 inclusive overnight camp session for youth ages 7-17 with OR without a disability, which we will offer again this summer! Summer overnight camps run Sunday-Friday, and include all meals.

Cost: $1,175 (discounts and financial assistance available)

Further information on overnight camps, including a packing list, policies/procedures, and the check-in and check-out process, are outlined in the 2023 Summer Overnight Camp Handbook found above. We are working on editing and updating the Summer Handbooks for Summer 2024! We ask all parents/caregivers to read this handbook thoroughly before submitting a camp application.

Please contact your Health Care Provider to determine if overnight camp is a good fit for your camper and family at this time (please note you will need a Physician Release Form to attend, just like past years).
